Recruiting Integrations#RMK#General Troubleshooting #Provisioning#Security Key#Recruiter Sync#Real Time Job Sync

Check these Settings – 1

ŸFirst, clear your browser’s cache or try again with a different browser. Then carefully check the steps in the exercise and the proceeding ones, especially the settings listed below.
ŸCommand Center
ŸSite > Site Setup*
ŸIntegrations > Manage API Credentials
ŸNote that some students using their partner company’s shared stage instance have found their Command settings changed, but not by them. Check for that!
ŸFor example, one student was not able to apply for a job and found that her page rules had disappeared from the shared Stage site
Ÿ
* Getting the “HTTP Status 500” error? Confirm that you have enabled Site > Site Setup > Settings > Use Career Site Builder. Also confirm that your user is set up for Recruiter SSO.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Check these Settings – 2

ŸProvisioning
ŸCompany Settings > Enable Social Sourcing > Recruiting Marketing > Enable Job Marketing & Enable Career Site Builder
ŸRecruiting Marketing Datacenter URLs (Did you remember to enter https:// for each row?)YES
ŸService Provider Settings > Recruiting Marketing Settings
ŸThe Company Settings referenced in the Recruiter SSO exercise
ŸFor example, if you click Apply and are redirected back to the job page, ensure that you have disabled Enable E-Mail Verification for Career Site
ŸAdmin Center
ŸRole-based permissions (see each exercise)
---------------------------

Troubleshooting Tips – Security Key

ŸIf the Security Key is not set correctly, several types of errors can occur:
ŸRecruiter SSO
ŸReal-time Job Sync
ŸWhen attempting to open CSB you are redirected back to the instance home page.
ŸEnsure that the Security Key follows the rules:
ŸFrom 20-28 characters
ŸAt least one upper and one lower case letter
ŸAt least one numeric character
ŸAt least one special character/punctuation
ŸEnsure that the Security Key is the same in Command Center > Site Setup > SSO and in Provisioning > Service Provider Settings > Recruiting Marketing Settings. (For security reasons, the Key will be cleared after saving each time.)
ŸEnsure that the Security Key is unique (not used in another instance).

-------------------------

Troubleshooting Tips – Recruiter Sync

ŸThere may be a delay to see your results.

ŸIf the recruiters do not appear in Command Center under Users > Search (Client Admin), check that each has a unique email address. (The most common error.)
ŸEnsure that your Staffing Group is populated in Admin Center.
ŸTo see the status of your job, check the logs from Command Center > Site > Site Maintenance Viewer and click on Load Prior 24h Data. Select the job and read the log at the bottom.
ŸIf the log shows a 403 Error, check the System Name field on the SSO page and ensure that you’ve selected the datacenter where your instance is installed.
ŸCheck the settings from Site Setup > SSO and re-run Recruiter Sync.
ŸIf when you click Manage Career Site Builder you get the error “The requested operation is not available” check that your admin user (HR Admin) is included in the Recruiter Sync.
ŸSome students have reported that Recruiter Sync wouldn’t run for them, but it worked when the instructor ran it from the student’s Command Center instance.

--------------------

Troubleshooting Tips – Real Time Job Sync

ŸThere may be a delay to see your results. Even if a scheduled job in Provisioning is displayed as Complete, the job may not be finished running on the RMK side. The request is sent to a queue called “Maintenance” and the time to execute maintenance jobs varies greatly based on the time of day and number of jobs in queue.
ŸTo see if the job was run by RMK, check the logs from Command Center > Site > Site Maintenance Viewer and click on Load Prior 24h Data. Select the job and read the log at the bottom.
ŸConfirm that every job contains a job description.
ŸConfirm that the jobs are posted to the external career site created for RCM.
ŸUn-post and re-post the job in RCM. Also change a field on the requisition and save the change.
ŸEnsure that you have not included a large image in the job requisition that exceeds the size limit.
ŸCheck your field mapping.
ŸRe-run the Recruiting Marketing “Sync all external job postings” job in Provisioning.
ŸCheck your settings in Provisioning for the RMK Service Provider Settings (including the Security Key) and the RMK Datacenter URLs.
ŸIf used, ensure that a Job Profile exists for that particular requisition. One customer's job would not sync because of invisible characters in empty lines in the Job profile, External job description.
